There is so little time left in the semester! One more week of class and then finals. Where has the time gone?!

Being done with college has definitely been making my mouth water these last few months but now that the semester is actually almost over … I wish I had more time.

Oh, wait. I’m only a junior.

There are so many experiences that are unique to being in university environment. It is a rare opportunity to be part of such a close community with people who can so easily relate to you, people so willing to be your friend.

So many extremely educated adults willing to share their wealth of information. So many resources  — a massive library, countless computers, travel opportunities and safe, support groups always willing to listen.

I’m going to miss the 10:30 a.m. naps, weekend shenanigans, summer vacay and really having so little responsibility. But this being my last summer vacation I am determined to make it absolutely epic and packed full of mayhem.

Actually, I need to make this entire next year amazing because time is running out! I have checked so little off my UW-Eau Claire bucket list so that is going to my theme for the next year.

If you don’t have a bucket list I would recommend you make one ASAP.

Last week I went to the planetarium and it was hilariously awesome. It made me realize it is really time to start making some checks.

With the help of The Spectator staff, here is a list of things you MUST do before your final days as a Blugold.

— Steal a book from Brothers’ bookshelf
— Spend an entire night in the library (hello finals week!)
— Actually go to the homecoming football game
— Be in the homecoming parade

— Write initials in wet cement somewhere on campus

— Join an organization (check!)

— Become best friends with a professor (check!)
— V-Ball
— Use the climbing wall
— See a movie in Woodland Theater
— Scope out Putnam Rock (check!)
— Attend a free fitness class
— Check out the sculptures downtown
— Attend a Foster Art Gallery opening (check!)
— See a student play
— Go thrifting at Savers (check!)
— Eat at Stella Blues (check!)
— Get a slice of Buzzy’s (check!)
— Write the initials of your crush with rocks under the walking bridge
— Get froyo from one of our 900 locations
— Go to an Express game (EC minor league baseball team)
— Find every Mona Lisa

Looks like I have a lot more work to do! Get out there and find some mayhem!
