Bon Iver will not perform on campus this week

A message stating Bon Iver was to perform Friday was written around campus in chalk. It is in fact just an April Fools’ Day joke.

Despite sidewalks across campus stating “Bon Iver Live @ Zorn 4/3 8 p.m.” The hometown hero, Justin Vernon, and his Grammy award winning band will not take the stage of Zorn this weekend.

The message is just an April Fools’ Day prank, UW-Eau Claire Service Center employees said.

The band’s Eau Claire following proved to be strong Wednesday morning. By 9 a.m. the Service Center had many people stop by hoping to buy tickets, employees said.
