Take a look at some of the biggest names of 70s and 80s dance music
Back in the 1970s and 1980s, people loved to dance. Disco was one of the ruling musical genres and its main purpose was to make people move their feet.
Many of the leaders of this boogie movement in the United States actually came from Europe, inspiring American-born songwriters in the process.
The Swedish Disco-Pop group ABBA nearly defined the genre in and of itself with their border crossing dancing jams. The English group Dead or Alive gave their spin on the style of music as well. Listen to these and more with the Spectator’s Spotify playlist.

He has a small but growing record collection and believes Woody Harrelson is a style icon and national treasure — fact not opinion.
