Fall Festivities at Govin’s Farm
Govin’s Farm’s fall activities and food are now up and running through Oct. 29. The hours for the farm are 5 to 10 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Included in admission, Govin’s website said they have an eleven-acre corn maze, pumpkin patch, wagon rides, zip line, hay jump, giant slides, yard games, corn pit, mini gold, duck races, farm animals and photo opportunities.
Admission does not include the haunted trail, pumpkin cannon and apple cannon.
Seasonal treats to purchase are apple cider donuts, donut sundaes, warm pretzels, kettle corn, caramel apple blossoms, hot dogs, hamburgers, brats, chips, cookies, s’more and apple cider.
There will be farm babies on Saturdays and Sundays.
This is for all ages and costs $13.
The Haunted Hillside
There will be activities, food and a scare at The Haunted Hillside in Menomonie.
Through the end of October, The Haunted Hillside will be offering haunted trail rides for kids and adults.
Non-spooky dates are available on their online schedule.

The kid’s games and activities, The Haunted Hillside website said, includes corn pool, pumpkin tic-tac-toe, coloring pages, bean bags, pumpkin checkers, scavenger hunt, face painting and photo opportunities.
Apple cider, hot chocolate, water, apple cider donuts, popcorn, hot dogs, chips, nachos and cheese, BBQ sandwiches, rice crispy treats, cookies and candy bars are available for purchase, The Haunted Hillside website said.
The proceeds from food sales go to Strong Arms Helping Families.
At the Haunted Hillside, there will be vendors like Delicious Food and Treats, Color Street Nails, Usborne Books and More, Paparazzi $5 Jewelry and more.
The haunted Hillside is located at the Waterhouse Residence.
Basement Halloween Escape Room
Located at the Schlegelmilch-McDaniel House, the Chippewa Valley Museum presents The Basement which is a Halloween-themed escape room.
Reservations are required and the minimum age to participate is twelve.
$120 for two to four players plus $30 for extra players (up to twelve players).
The objective, Tactical Escape 101 said, is to solve creepy puzzles and exit the escape room in sixty minutes or less.
This escape room is every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday noon to 9 p.m. and Sunday noon to 7 p.m. until Oct. 31
