On Oct. 19, University Police arrested an Eau Claire man on charges of invasion of privacy in a women’s locker room.
Tyler N. Mills, 26, is banned from campus property until further notice. Anyone who sees him on campus should contact the police department at 839-4972.
Director of University Police David Sprick said the department does not believe he is a physical threat to students but was banned from campus as a precaution. He did not make physical contact with anyone in the locker room.
Earlier this year, Mills was found not guilty of child enticement and 2nd degree sexual assault of a child by reason of mental disease, according to the Wisconsin Circuit Court Web site.
Mills is also listed on the Wisconsin Department of Corrections’ Registered Sex Offender Web site for an out-of-state conviction in Washington in July 2004. He is on active community supervision until 2014.
