Construction on the new Sonnentag Event Center and Fieldhouse is nearing an end. Nick Hoven, the Blugold Athletics director of media relations, said the plan is for the building to officially open in July.

Downtown Eau Claire Inc. (DECI), a local nonprofit aimed at promoting downtown businesses and hosting community-based events, held its annual trick-or-treating event on Saturday, Oct. 26.
