With the game tied at 35-35 with 11 minutes to play, Eau Claire broke out with an 11-2 run and hit 6 of 8 free throws down the stretch to put the game out of reach.
Senior Kristi Channing led the team in scoring, putting in 14 points on a 5-for-9 shooting night. Junior Becca Spaeth added 12 on 5-for-8 shooting.
Junior Brooke Wozniak completed her third double-double of the year with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
The Blugolds improved to 21-1 on the season and kept their slate clean of losses for their conference record.
Eau Claire will battle with second-place UW-Oshkosh in Zorn Arena on Wednesday at 7 p.m. to try and clinch the WIAC conference.
