UW-Eau Claire women’s basketball team end season with a loss

The UW-Eau Claire women’s basketball team officially ended its season with a 73-53 loss at the hands of host UW-Whitewater Saturday afternoon.

The Warhawks clinched a perfect season in conference play with the win. The Blugolds missed the conference tournament just two years removed from winning the league.

Courtney Lewis had 14 points to lead the Blugolds while Kristin Sahr and Abby Midtlien both chipped in 10.
